DamCollect Support
DamCollect is a field data-collection app for dam-safety engineers, part of the DamSafety.IO platform. It is used by authorized personnel of dam-owning and engineering organizations to record instrument readings in the field.
Getting access
You can start in three ways: tap “Continue without an account” for a local workspace, tap Sign in with Apple (name and email only; Hide My Email is supported), or sign in with your organization Microsoft (Azure AD) account to sync with DamSafety.IO. If your organization account is not set up yet, contact your DamSafety.IO administrator or email us below.
You can also tap “or try with sample Keeney Dam data” to explore a preloaded sample dam. Location is optional — you can still use the map, add a dam, and save readings if you decline the location prompt. DamCollect is currently offered for iPhone.
Common questions
- No dams appear after sign-in? Pull down “Sync Now” on the Profile tab. You’ll see the dams your account is authorized for.
- An instrument shows “Not mapped”? It has no surveyed coordinates yet. Record a reading at the instrument with “set its location to my current position” enabled to map it.
- Readings offline? Readings save on-device and sync automatically when you’re back online.
